Funding is available for the new construction/first purchase of an Efficiency House 40 or Efficiency Building 40, which additionally
must achieve specific limit values for greenhouse gas emissions in the life cycle in accordance with the Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings (QNG) and has no heat generators based on fossil energy or biomass.
Funding is provided in the form of a promotional loan from KfW.
Companies, natural persons (private individuals) and sole proprietors, other legal entities under private law, non-profit organizations, corporations and institutions under public law are eligible to apply.
Construction contracts may be awarded after the "Proof of consultation" has been signed. The construction itself may only take place after the application has been submitted to KfW.
